RAB fines 50 people for ignoring social distancing in Dhaka 

Rapid Action Battalion conducted the drives in Mirpur, Roopnagar, Bhatara, Rampura, and Moghbazar areas of the capital

A mobile court on Tuesday fined 50 people of Tk47,300 while conducting drives in various areas of the capital to ensure social distancing in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19.

A team of Rapid Action Battalion conducted the drives in Mirpur, Roopnagar, Bhatara, Rampura, and Moghbazar areas of the capital. 

Executive Magistrate of RAB-4 Anisur Rahman, who led the drives, said that this operation will continue in upcoming days to ensure social awareness and keep distance for people's own safety.
